Gwendolyn attended her first live sports event on Saturday night when the whole family went to cheer on the Vancouver Whitecaps women's soccer team at Burnaby's Swangard Stadium. It was a warm night, perfect for lounging in the stands with a cold drink and a hot dog. As expected, Gwendolyn was a hit with the crowd, doing her own "cheering" of the home squad and giving big smiles to the fans seated around her. Her enthusiasm waned a bit in the second half, though, and she slept through the last part of the game, snoozing away even when the crowd cheered one of the two goals the Whitecaps scored en route to a 2-2 tie with the visiting team.
