A trip to the playground

Here's a photo montage of a recent trip to the neighbourhood playground:
  • A stop along the way to explore a fountain...
  • ... and climb a rock or two.
  • Swing, little sister!
  • Navigating "the cage"
  • Hanging out at the top of the climbing wall
The playground at False Creek Elementary School is clearly the best around for climbing, hanging and swinging, and an almost daily pilgrimage is required -- weather permitting, of course.

To prove her fearless climbing prowess, Daddy captured one of the day's ascents of the playground's climbing wall:

BTW, the buzzer and whistle you hear are part of the noises of recess at the school next door. If you listen closely, you may also be able to hear Gwendolyn singing to herself as she climbs.
