Gwendolyn was the recipient of a big bag of preloved clothing today (thanks, Rod!) and in it were a couple of pairs of "flip flop" sandals.
They are still a big for her feet, and it took some practice getting them on; the first few attempts landed the thong portion between the second and third toes rather than the more common -- and more comfortable -- first (aka "big") and second. Once she got the hang of them, though, they were glued to her feet.
And of course, every fashionable young lady must paint her toenails when wearing sandals. (The "nail polish" is courtesy of Gwendolyn's felt markers.)
