Even though she's not quite 100%, Gwendolyn was nice enough to pose (again!) for more photos of her. She's pretty accustomed to the camera, but we are still challenged to get her to act "normal" when we're using the movie option. She tends to just...stare and look slightly puzzled.
She's doing a lot of vocalising, even moderating her tone to mimic us if we whisper. It's very cool. Kevin does this thing where he drops his head and puts his ear right beside her mouth and asks her to "tell [me] secrets," and she does, sort of. She will make some breathy sounds (no, not just simply breathing) for a while. It's adorable. Other times, she will discover a new sound and do it all the time. Her latest favourite is a very high-pitched, only-dogs-can-hear-type "EEEEEE!" that she enjoys immensely. We still get treated to the "aaaahhhh" "ooooo-ahhhhh-oooohhhh" sounds too.
We're continuously awed by the myriad things she must be taking in and learning every single day. Her reach and grab skills are improving exponentially, and -- again -- we are loving every new and exciting development.
