The Ronaghan family made the trek to Stanley Park this morning to visit the Vancouver Aquarium. This was not the first time Gwendolyn had been there, but being just over 6 months old at that time, she wasn't all that aware or interested in the fascinating creatures surrounding her.
This time, it was a completely different story. We enjoyed watching sea otters and dolphins, jellyfish and seals, and even a pair of divers who were busy cleaning one of the tanks. Of course, the highlight of the visit was seeing the newest member of the aquarium's beluga clan, born on June 7. Gwendolyn was very engaged by the whole affair, and we expect she'll be talking about it for the next few days at least.
