Tersen the Person: "That kid is sure fun to play with! What's her name anyway?"
Sheep: "I think it's Gwendolyn. Yeah, she's lots of fun -- except when she shoves me out of the play barn's hayloft. Ouch! That's a long fall, you know."
Tersen: "Sorry about that. At least she hasn't given you a crazy name -- yet."
Horse: "Hopefully Daddy will have a good suggestion for me... I'm kinda partial to Hubert. Say, have you tasted this hay?"
All together: "Mmmmmmm... Alfalfa!"
(A note on the photograph: during a recent meal, Gwendolyn saw the camera sitting on the kitchen table and immediately began instructing Mama to take photos -- of herself, and of this cute collection of critters, which happened to be having a wee conference around a hay bale at the time. And yes, the little girl's name is Tersen. Nice rhyme, G.!)
