Gwendolyn came home from pre-school Friday afternoon with a lovely Mothers' Day surprise: a laminated drawing of her Mama, framed by a few of her thoughts on motherhood, namely:
What is a Mum?
A lady and she takes care of little kids so they don't run away.
What does your Mummy do best?
She takes care of us, me and just me.
What does your Mummy do?
She goes to work every day -- a special day where she gets paid money so we can eat food and stuff.
Why do you love your Mum?
'Cause I like to cuddle with her.
Gwendolyn and her Mama wish all the other Mamas a happy and restful Mothers' Day.
