Here are a few photos from Gwendolyn's 1st birthday celebration, including the traditional "first taste of cake" shot.
By the way, the first animal Gwendolyn could name in her picture books was an owl, hence her cake's theme. There were actually two cakes: one small one to eat and a bigger one to look at (and eat later). And here's the surprise -- Daddy did the baking and decorating!
