The cooler weather returned this past week and along with it, a much more comfortable existence for the Ronaghan household. Thank goodness... We weren't sure we could take many more sweltering days and sleepless nights!
The bike seat has become almost second nature to Gwendolyn, and she and Daddy ventured out several days during the week on progressively longer rides to see what they could see. For those in the market for a bike seat, Daddy would highly recommend one that is front mounted, as it allows for lots of enjoyable interaction with your little passenger -- something a rear mount seat can't possibly duplicate.
And we have a milestone to report: this evening, Mama and Daddy left G. with Zoey and her parents and snuck away for a couple of hours to celebrate a friend's birthday. Believe it or not, this was the first time Gwendolyn had been without both parents for more than just a few minutes. All went well, as was expected: who wouldn't enjoy a few hours playing with their best friend?
