That's Gwendolyn's way of saying, "Tell me what the letters are that make up the word on your t-shirt/that book cover/that Yellow Pages ad" etc.. We expect that it's her imitation of what we must sound like when we spell words for her.
As you might surmise, Gwendolyn has become very interested in letters. She says the word "letters" very clearly, and we oblige by spelling words whenever she shows interest. Sometimes a perfectly suitable drawing subject is a bunch of letters jumbled together, and we often write the names of the objects we draw underneath them.
Of course, Gwendolyn is not spelling on her own just yet -- she just seems to enjoy hearing and seeing the letters. She is certainly an apple that hasn't fallen too far from the tree -- both Daddy and Mama love typography. Daddy's already shopping for a printing press... or perhaps a Mac so she can start designing her own fonts!
