More from a trip to the coast

As promised, here are a few more photos from our Tofino trip:

• Sunset Point and the beach at Cox Bay, a short walk from the door of our suite

• Meeting Charlie, a very affectionate 4 1/2 year old Golden Lab
• Mama and G. make reflections in the wet sand at low tide
• On Daddy's shoulders during an after-dinner stroll on the beach

And here is a video of one of Gwendolyn's beach combing jaunts, complete with face-plant. (The Canadian judge gave her a perfect "10".) Note the sound of the ocean in the background: a constant, gentle roar, reminiscent of the sound of a jet plane taking off in the distance. Note also Gwendolyn's awesome yellow rain suit and pink rubber boots!
